The Schumann-Haus at Bilker Straße fifteen is the only residence of the famous musical couple Robert and Clara Schumann that still stands with its original historic structure intact. Built in seventeen ninety-five, this building provided a home for the family starting in eighteen fifty-two, during Robert Schumann's tenure as the municipal music director of Düsseldorf.
