Mündung Südliche Düssel

The Düssel river defines this city, yet you will not find a single, grand mouth where it meets the Rhine. Instead, the river splits into four separate arms that flow into the water at different points. The Mündung Südliche Düssel, or the mouth of the Southern Düssel, is one of these points. Here, the river reaches the end of a long journey through the city, often hidden from view as it travels through pipes and channels beneath the streets of Carlstadt.
