The Rhine Tower rises above the city skyline as a massive, slender cylinder of reinforced concrete. Standing two hundred forty point five meters tall, it is the highest building in Düsseldorf. Designed by architect Harald Deilmann and constructed between nineteen seventy-nine and nineteen eighty-two, the structure serves as a primary hub for telecommunications, carrying aerials for television and radio transmitters across the region.
