Athonos Square

Athonos Square is a small, stone-paved plaza distinguished by a central fountain and a single large tree. It sits tucked away in the city center, surrounded by a maze of narrow, winding lanes. Unlike the grand, open boulevards designed after the nineteen seventeen fire, this area preserves a much older layout, with roots reaching back to the Ottoman period.
