Pasha’s Gardens

Pasha’s Gardens, located behind the Agios Dimitrios Hospital in Thessaloniki, are defined by an collection of unusual, half-ruined stone structures that seem to rise from the landscape. Built in nineteen oh four, these remains include an ornate fountain, a cistern for rainwater, and a stone tunnel that leads to nowhere. The park occupies a plot of land that was once part of the grounds of the Hamidiye Hospital, providing a green space with views of the city and the Thermaic Gulf.
