Melief Bender is the oldest pub in Rotterdam, dating back to eighteen seventy-six. Its interior is recognizable by the large, framed historic photographs of the city displayed on the walls. The establishment occupies a building on the Oude Binnenweg that managed to survive the bombardment of Rotterdam during the Second World War.
