Sylvette is a seven-and-a-half-meter-tall concrete sculpture of a young woman with a high ponytail. You can identify the figure by the sharp contrast between its light concrete surface and the dark, recessed lines created by embedded black pebbles. These lines mimic the appearance of a hand-drawn sketch, tracing the profile of Sylvette David, whom Pablo Picasso met in nineteen fifty-four when he was seventy-three years old.
