Wisława Szymborska Park

Wisława Szymborska Park is identified by its sensory gardens and a stream that flows among colorful bushes and grasses. Opened in July twenty twenty-three, on the one-hundredth anniversary of the Nobel Prize-winning poet’s birth, the park occupies a space that once served as a parade ground for the Franciszek Józef the First barracks. Following the site's demilitarization, it was used for many years as a temporary parking lot before local residents campaigned to transform the degraded area into a public green space.
