The most striking feature of the building at one hundred one Donegall Street is the large, concentric rose window centered on its west-facing facade. This Gothic Revival structure, known as Redeemer Central, has earned the nickname of Belfast's Phoenix Church because it has been repeatedly rebuilt after disasters, including a devastating fire in nineteen thirty-one and damage during the Belfast Blitz of the nineteen forties.
