Castle Junction is the intersection where Royal Avenue, Donegall Place, and Castle Place converge in the center of Belfast. It acts as a historical landmark for the city, though no physical castle stands here today. The name persists from the seventeenth-century residence built by Sir Arthur Chichester in sixteen eleven, which occupied this site until it was destroyed by fire in seventeen oh eight.
