Cleaver House stands at the junction of Donegall Square North and Donegall Place, instantly recognizable by its turrets, bluish-green copper roofs, and intricate stone carvings. Built between eighteen eighty-six and eighteen eighty-eight, the six-story structure was designed by the firm Young and Mackenzie as a warehouse for the Royal Irish Linen company.
