The Pot Still

The Pot Still at one hundred and fifty-four Hope Street is identified by the towering gantry behind its bar, which displays over one thousand different whiskies. While the building has hosted a public house since at least eighteen sixty-seven, it was known as McCall’s Bar for over a century. The premises remained a family-run business under the McCall name until the nineteen sixties, when the Tennents brewery group acquired the property and carried out extensive interior renovations.
