Beach Chalet

The Beach Chalet is a two-story building in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, located where Golden Gate Park meets the Pacific Ocean. Architect Willis Polk designed the structure, which opened in nineteen twenty-five to provide a restaurant and changing rooms for beach visitors. Its most prominent features include sweeping ocean views from the second floor and a series of detailed frescoes lining the walls of the lobby.
