Commonwealth, located at twenty-two twenty-four Mission Street, sits in a building that formerly housed a local doughnut shop. You can still identify the site by the faded, vintage doughnut mural that remains on the exterior wall. Inside, the space was long defined by its modest, open-plan design, featuring tables made of hickory, exposed brick, and a ceiling strung with simple light bulbs instead of chandeliers.
