Presidio Golf Course

historic

The Presidio Golf Course is defined by its dramatic layout of eighteen holes carved into rolling hills and framed by dense groves of towering eucalyptus and Monterey pine trees. Established in eighteen ninety-five, it ranks among the oldest golf courses on the West Coast. The land was originally commissioned by Colonel William M. Graham, the commander of the military base, who allowed local businessmen to build a nine-hole course for both military officers and civilian members.
