The Albert Street Uniting Church is defined by an octagonal stone spire that rises forty-two meters from the corner of Albert and Ann Streets. Built between eighteen eighty-eight and eighteen eighty-nine, this Victorian Gothic Revival structure features red bricks crafted from local Milton clay and ornate hood molds made of Oamaru stone from New Zealand.
