The Old Windmill in Observatory Park is a stout, circular sandstone and brick tower, easily identified by its distinctive silhouette against the Brisbane skyline. Standing at two hundred twenty-six Wickham Terrace, it is the oldest surviving building in Queensland, completed in eighteen twenty-eight by convict labor.
