House Conspiracy

House Conspiracy is a traditional Queenslander-style dwelling, recognizable by the off-green paint covering its exterior. It sits as a pocket of preserved architecture sandwiched between modern apartment buildings in the West End of Brisbane. During a period of intense local development around the year two thousand, the owners resisted pressure to sell the property. They eventually agreed to a compromise where the house was painted to match the color of the neighboring apartment blocks, allowing it to blend into the new construction while remaining physically intact.
