Ermita del Cerro Santa Lucía

religious

The Ermita del Cerro Santa Lucía is a small neo-Gothic chapel built of pink stone from the Pelequén quarries. You can identify it by its slender, arrow-like tower and ornate, open-work stone detailing. It sits on the western slope of the hill as part of the park transformation led by Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna in the eighteen seventies.
