The Church of Saint Augustine occupies the corner of Estado and Agustinas streets, identifiable by a Neoclassical facade that features a decorative balustrade resting upon six heavy Doric columns. This site has been the home of the Augustinian Order in Santiago since the seventeenth century, anchoring their provincial presence in the city since they first arrived in fifteen ninety-five.
