The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is defined by its five prominent, gold-topped onion domes. Designed by Mikhail Preobrazhensky and constructed between eighteen ninety-four and nineteen hundred, this structure is a primary example of the Russian Revival style in Tallinn. It sits atop Toompea Hill, directly across from the seat of the Estonian Parliament.
