Kalamaja muuseum

The Kalamaja Museum occupies a functionalist villa built in nineteen thirty-four, recognizable by its clean lines and its history as a former private home for a professor of mechanics. Opened in September twenty twenty-one at Kotzebue sixteen, this building now functions as a community hub rather than a traditional archive. Its rooms are organized around six archetypes—the man, woman, child, ancestor, artist, and animal of Kalamaja—who narrate the neighborhood's evolution from a medieval fishing village to an industrial and creative district.
