The House of the Blackheads, located at Pikk Street twenty-six, is recognizable by its ornate Renaissance façade, a feature that distinguishes it from the surrounding medieval structures. Built with stone carvings and an intricate portal, the building functioned for over five centuries as the headquarters for the Brotherhood of Blackheads. This association of unmarried merchants, shipowners, and foreigners was first mentioned in records in the year fourteen hundred.
