Tallinn Creative Hub

The Tallinn Creative Hub, or Kultuurikatel, is recognizable by the massive, weathered brick chimney that rises over one hundred meters into the sky. This limestone structure once served as the boiler room for the Tallinn City Central Power Station, which began operations in nineteen thirteen to bring electricity to the city. While the station ceased power generation in nineteen seventy-nine, the boiler room remained active as a heating facility until the late nineteen eighties.
