Hôtel d'Arbaud-Jouques

The Hôtel d'Arbaud-Jouques spans the northern side of the Cours Mirabeau with a distinctive facade characterized by eight window bays on each of its three floors. This imposing hôtel particulier resulted from the efforts of André-Elzéard d'Arbaud de Jouques, who served as a president of the Parlement of Provence. By combining the Hôtel de Valbelle-Meyrargues, which his mother had purchased, with the neighboring Hôtel de Séguiran, he created a single, expansive residence. The architect Jean-Baptiste Franque completed this unified structure in seventeen thirty-two.
