Obere Krämersgasse is a narrow, pedestrian-friendly street located in the heart of Nuremberg's medieval Altstadt. The name translates to Upper Merchant's Lane, reflecting its historical role in a city once celebrated as a center of commerce and craft in the Holy Roman Empire. While much of the surrounding city fabric was destroyed during the air raids of January nineteen forty-five, the street features buildings reconstructed to match the historical architecture of the fourteenth to sixteenth centuries.
