Kling Klang Musik GmbH

This unassuming building at Mintropstraße sixteen once held the engine room of electronic music. Behind its yellow-tiled exterior and industrial courtyard, the band Kraftwerk established their private Kling Klang studio in nineteen seventy. Here, Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider moved away from traditional rock instruments, filling the space with self-built oscillators, synthesizers, and drum machines to craft a new, robotic sound that would influence decades of popular music.
