Naniwa Noodles & Soups is a small, long-standing corner restaurant on Oststraße known for the queues that form on the sidewalk throughout the day. Opened in nineteen eighty-six, it became one of the first places in the city to serve traditional Japanese ramen. Inside, diners sit in an urban, informal space where steam rises from bowls of soup served with traditional noodles, often accompanied by the sound of customers slurping their broth.
