Akarizaka

Akarizaka, or the Lighted Slope, is one of two steep, stone-paved alleyways that cut through the Kazuemachi Chaya District. You can identify this passage by its narrow path and the way it climbs away from the river, often catching the sun that is blocked from its darker, parallel neighbor, Kuragarizaka.
