Aksdal i Muren occupies a historic stone building known as Muren, which dates back to fifteen sixty-one. You can identify the site by its distinct stone archway, known as Murhvelvingen, located near the start of the pedestrian street Gågaten. The building was originally constructed as a private residence for the nobleman Erik Rosenkrantz just one year after a major city fire.
