Fløibanen

The Fløibanen funicular is identifiable by its two signature carriages, one painted red and named Rødhette, or Little Red Riding Hood, and the other painted blue and named Blåmann, or Blue Man. Together with the white lower station, these colors reflect the Norwegian flag. The railway climbs eight hundred forty-eight meters from the city center of Bergen to the peak of Mount Fløyen, covering a height difference of three hundred two meters in about six minutes.
