Strangehagen

Strangehagen is a narrow, quiet street in the Nordnes neighborhood of Bergen, recognized by its tight rows of historic wooden houses and uneven cobblestones. The name comes from a property owned in the early seventeenth century by a city councillor named Strange Jørgenssøn, who established a poorhouse there for residents in need.
