The Arcos Rojos, or Red Arches, is a striking installation that wraps around the central pillars of the La Salve Bridge. Designed by French artist Daniel Buren, the work features a vibrant red shell punctuated by three partial circles cut out in a vertical sequence. It was commissioned in two thousand seven to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the nearby Guggenheim Museum, with the goal of creating a visual dialogue between the bridge and the museum's own deconstructive architecture.
