Casa Montero is a residential building defined by its undulating, curved facade that stands out sharply from the neighboring structures. Locals frequently call it the Casa Gaudí, as its intricate stone carvings, wrought-iron balconies, and decorative tiles resemble the work of the famous Catalan architect. Despite this nickname, the building was designed by Luis Aladrén Mendivil and Jean Baptiste Darroquy between nineteen oh two and nineteen oh four.
