Espacio Marzana occupies a ground-level storefront at number five Muelle de Marzana, directly overlooking the river. This contemporary art gallery has operated here since November two thousand two, when it opened with the goal of promoting emerging artistic talent in the city. The space takes its name from the pier where it stands, a location situated just a short walk from the Bilbao Arte contemporary art center.
