Waterloo Park

Waterloo Park is an eleven-acre green space in downtown Austin that you can identify by the towering, stacked steel canopy of the Moody Amphitheater, which resembles a cloud of tree branches over a large lawn. Before this land became a park, it was a residential area where diverse communities of Black, German, Swedish, and Lebanese immigrants lived and worked along the banks of Waller Creek.
