The Griffith Film School is housed within the heritage-listed former South Brisbane Library. Its exterior features a distinct contrast between the original, historic masonry of the library building and contemporary additions made of glass and polycarbonate. When illuminated at night, these newer sections are designed to play with light and shadow, reflecting the cinematic nature of the work produced inside.
