The Allée des Peshmergas is a path located within the Parc André-Citroën in the fifteenth arrondissement of Paris. Inaugurated on September fifth, twenty twenty-five, this walkway honors the Peshmerga, the fighting forces of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The name itself, meaning "those who face death," acknowledges the military unit's role in conflicts against the Islamic State and their history of resistance dating back decades.
