Escaliers vestiges de la gare d'Auteuil - Boulogne

A set of stone stairs stands at the corner of the place de la Porte-d’Auteuil and the boulevard de Montmorency. These stairs represent a remnant of the former Gare d’Auteuil-Boulogne, a railway terminal that opened in eighteen fifty-four. While the main station building now houses a restaurant, these steps once transported passengers from the street level to the platforms of a transit line that predated the modern Métro.
