Tolstoy Square

Square Tolstoï sits in the sixteenth arrondissement, marked by a collection of chestnut trees that bloom with white and cream flowers before turning shades of pink and red. This urban garden spans over two thousand square meters and borders the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. It first opened to the public in nineteen thirty-four, occupying land that once held a section of the defensive military perimeter known as the Thiers wall.
