Fischergasse

The Fischergasse is a narrow street in Heidelberg’s Altstadt, marked by a collection of residential buildings that survived the destruction of the city in the late seventeenth century. These structures, including those at house numbers ten and twelve, retain a distinct Baroque style with external cellar entrances and doorways featuring original transoms. The street itself takes its name from the traditional guild house of the local fishermen that once occupied this site.
