The Jugendhaus Mitte is instantly recognizable by its distinct, bright red exterior on Hohe Straße. Opened on November fourteenth, nineteen fifty-two, it was the first facility for open child and youth work in Stuttgart. The building was designed by architect Karl Elsässer and stands as a preserved example of early post-war modern architecture.
