The Street of Human Rights is a line of thirty austere, eight-meter-tall white concrete pillars that slice through the Kartäusergasse. Each pillar bears one article from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, inscribed in both German and a second language. The installation includes a stylized triumphal arch at the Kornmarkt entrance, two pillars set flush into the ground, and a single oak tree.
