Even Israel Appartement - City Center

Even Yisrael stands as a distinct rectangle of stone, marked by the weathered, arched gateways that once provided security for those living outside the Old City walls. Built in eighteen seventy-five, it was the sixth Jewish neighborhood established beyond those ancient fortifications. Its design features row houses surrounding a central courtyard, a layout intended to offer protection to the fifty-three members of the building society who founded it.
