The Onojo Yosui canal is marked by a stone monument commemorating Kanazawa’s oldest water supply. This channel, stretching over ten kilometers, begins at the Saigawa River and follows a winding path through the city. Its name reflects the Onosho district it once served, which connected the castle town to the port area.
