The Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art is defined by a series of clean, horizontal lines and an architectural design by Yoshiro Taniguchi intended to echo the look of traditional Japanese shoji screens. Located on the edge of the Kenrokuen Garden, it holds a collection of roughly four thousand works that document the refined aesthetic of the Kaga Domain.
