The Ferber family coat of arms, featuring three wild boar heads, marks the site of a historic family residence in Gdańsk. You can find this crest displayed on stone carvings throughout the city, including at the St. Mary’s Church and the portal of a nearby rectory rebuilt by Moritz Ferber in the early sixteenth century. The Ferber family was once one of the most prominent in the city, contributing six mayors and numerous councilors to Gdańsk’s administration.
