Kozia

Kozia Street in Gdańsk takes its name from the goat pens that once occupied this narrow path. Records of the name Ziegengasse, which translates to Goat Street, appear in city documents as early as thirteen eighty-two. In the mid-fourteenth century, the lane was known as a path before the church, though it eventually became defined by these livestock enclosures.
