Zaułek Zachariasza Zappio is a narrow, picturesque stone-paved passage that wraps around the north and east sides of the fourteenth-century Saint John’s Church. Once a nameless alley following the boundary of an old church cemetery, it was officially named in March nineteen ninety-nine to honor a seventeenth-century merchant and philanthropist.
