Cleveland Bridge

Cleveland Bridge is recognizable by the four miniature, temple-like buildings that stand at its corners. Designed by architect Henry Goodridge and opened in eighteen twenty-six, the structure features a single, elegant cast-iron arched span that crosses the River Avon. It was built on the site of an ancient ferry crossing to support the expansion of Georgian Bath into the Bathwick area.
